It actually requires a further process of purification and sanctified living to obtain and retain the gifts of the Spirit than otherwise. The best means of reaching that goal is to do as Paul asked us to do, follow him “in fastings often.” This volume endeavors to take what has generally been overlooked, and reveal, perhaps for the first time in detailed form, the secret of the early church.
